Country framework

Italy

Italy is set up as a region-led country framework. No regional pages are published yet; this page defines the structure so future coverage can grow without becoming a generic Italy directory.

Italian countryside with cypress trees, vineyards and a distant hill town

Editorial architecture

Italy should be built region by region.

The country is too dense for one flat list. The right structure is regional: each region can later hold city guides, food notes, stays, beaches, countryside routes, museums, neighborhoods and practical dossiers.

Until a region has real material, it stays as structure only. This keeps the atlas premium and prevents empty destination pages.

Regional index

The 20 regions of Italy.

Future content model

How Italy should expand.

Step 1

Choose one region

Start with a region that has real field material, not the most obvious SEO volume.

Step 2

Create area clusters

For example: cities, coast, countryside, mountains, food, stays and viewpoints.

Step 3

Publish only useful dossiers

Each place needs photos, access, price, timing, notes, tags and a clear reason to exist.
