Italy is prepared as a region-led framework with all 20 regions mapped, ready for future field coverage without publishing empty regional pages.
Country rule
Each country page needs a thesis, a route, a category map and a reason for every featured place. This keeps the site premium as it grows.
Future countries can start as frameworks, but region and place pages should only go live when there is enough field material to avoid an empty directory feel.
